I come from a very sporty background; I practiced football, basketball, Karate and Thai boxing when I was younger which allowed me to be lean and fit without any extra efforts. Later on in my life I started working as a scaffolder and hurt my back due to that I had stop pretty much all types of activities. I put on weight, had heath issues, lacked confidence. Once I was healed, a PT helped me get back on the track not only was he keen but very supportive. I decided to train myself to become a PT to help others reach their goals.
How did you hear about Diverse Trainers, and what was your first impression?
I made a google search, I was looking for something flexible, easy and straight to the point, I found DIVERSE TRAINERS to tick all the boxes. The website was easy on the eye, had all the information. The person I spoke to was very nice and didn't put any kind of pressure on me.
How did you feel you were supported during the course?
Great support received, every time I had a question whether administrative or course work based, I had many ways to contact the appropriate personal support tutor.
How did the practical training days go?
The training was great, well organised, the location was well suited to the course with a gym, a cafe, park spaces. The layout of the day was also good, scheduled breaks and a good balance between theory and practice.
How was your Tutor on the Qualification?
The tutors were very professional, skilful and knew what they were talking about. I remember Mark to be very good at delivering the training days, provided good feedback and finally used various methods of communication to help us at his best.
What are your plans now fully qualified as a Personal Trainer?
I am also a sports therapist so I will add this skill to my business page and offer PT privately. I will look into CPD qualifications such as kettlebells, boot camps etc to add more knowledge to my skills and offer more service, parallel to that I will also be applying to work in gyms as a Personal Trainer.
Would you recommend Diverse Trainers to a friend?
I have already recommended DIVERSE TRAINERS too many friends who want to become PT's, especially the Level 2 Gym Instructor Course.
