Level 3Personal Trainer Course

• Some experience of gym-based exercises, including free weights, is recommended.
• A Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing in Gym, or equivalent
• You should have basic skills in communication.
• You should be a minimum of 16 years old to undertake this qualification.

The course itself is made up of 5 units, offering both a practical and theory-based learning opportunity. Our tutors have over 20 years of experience delivering this qualification, giving all our students the opportunity to learn from their knowledge and experience.

Personal Trainer Level 3 Course Units

Unit 1 – Anatomy physiology and kinesiology for exercise and health

Unit 2 – Applying nutritional principles to personal training

Unit 3 – Planning exercise programme design for personal training clients

Unit 4 – Delivering exercise programmes for personal training sessions

Unit 5 – Business acumen and the use of information technology for a personal trainer

The assessment and duration of the Level 3 Personal Trainer is wholly dependent on the learning method that you opt for.

The online learning method can see you qualify in just 2-6 weeks, this dependant on which online learning method you choose.

Online distance learning

Has been designed for students who want the flexibility to study in their own time, you can qualify in as little as 4-6 weeks. The qualification is assessed in several ways – such as a coursework portfolio, 20 hours of industry experience, and practical video assessments. You will gain access to our interactive E-learning platform and 8 lessons of live virtual clinics set at various times & days.

Face-to-Face

Has been designed for students who want the flexibility to study in their own time and want face-to-face instruction at a chosen location local to them. The qualification is assessed by completing a coursework portfolio and a face-to-face practical assessment. Once you have completed your coursework using our interactive E-learning platform you will be invited to attend a practical weekend. A qualified tutor will then teach you all the skills, techniques, and to enable you to complete your practical assessment. You will complete your practical assessment on the same weekend.

Fast Track Intensive Learning

The fast-track face-to-face learning method can see you qualify in as little as 1 weeks. You will be taught both theory and practical parts of the course face-to-face in a classroom and gym environment. You will complete all your assessments including a coursework portfolio, exams, and practical assessments during the course. This interactive learning option will enable to you start personal training immediately after completing the course.
