Course Overview

Our Level 3 Women’s Health and Menopause course gives you the specialist knowledge and practical understanding to support women safely and effectively through all stages of menopause. You’ll learn to promote wellbeing, manage symptoms, and provide evidence-based guidance to help clients maintain strength, balance, and quality of life.

Qualify in just 4-6 weeks via our fully online, distance-learning route.

You’ll also have up to 2 years to finish the qualification, giving you flexibility to learn at your own pace.

The course includes 8 hours of live virtual teaching via Zoom, supported by ongoing tutor guidance.

Getting started is simple, this course is open to anyone with a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals. 

Minimum age: 16 years old.

  • Level 2 Group Exercise Instructor: this could include Exercise to Music, Pilates, Yoga, or Gym
    Instructor.
  • Level 3 Personal Training

 

Skills & attributes: An understanding of basic anatomy/physiology helps; good communication and a genuine interest in women’s health are important.

This Level 3 Award (RQF) consists of 3 mandatory units designed to give you a strong foundation in women’s health during menopause: 

 

Unit 1: Understanding Menopause and the Implications on Women’s Health.

Unit 2: Understanding the Effect of Hormones and Their Role in Women’s Health.

Unit 3: Programming and Delivering Exercises to Support Women in the Stages of Menopause.

 

You’ll learn not just the theory of hormonal change, but also practical ways to design exercise programs that safely and effectively support women through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

How you’ll be assessed:

Coursework portfolio: Written assignments covering your understanding of menopause and hormones.
Programming assignment: Design an exercise programme tailored to women at different stages of menopause.
No exam required, assessments are practical and applied, aligning with real-world coaching contexts.
