The Level 3 Diploma in delivering Pilates sessions (RQF) provides students with the extended knowledge, understanding, and skills required to be able to competently plan and instruct Pilates mat work sessions and provide Pilates teaching. You will develop knowledge and understanding of the following topics:
- The key principles of exercise, fitness, and health, including the components, principles, and variables of fitness, the health and benefits of physical activity, and the importance of healthy eating.
- Effective working relationships with clients, how to provide ongoing customer services, and how to support clients to adhere to exercise/physical activity.

- fundamentals of programming Pilates sessions
- Prepare, instruct, demonstrate, and evaluate a Pilates mat work session.
Many of those who complete the Level 3 Diploma in delivering Pilates sessions qualification often go on to complete the Level 3 Award in Developing Exercise Sessions for Older Adults course to further their knowledge.
Students need to have completed the Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification to enroll onto our Level 3 Diploma in delivering Pilates sessions qualification. You should have basic skills in communication and be a minimum of 16 years old to undertake this qualification.
The course itself is made up of 6 units, offering both a practical and theory-based learning opportunity. Our tutors have over 20 years of industry experience, giving all our students the opportunity to learn from their knowledge and experience.

You qualify in just 6-8 weeks by choosing our online learning option. The qualification is assessed in several ways – such as coursework, 20 hours of industry experience, and video practical assessments. You can take up to 2 years to complete the qualification.
