Late in 2015, I decided that that 2016 will be my year! After years of working in lack-lustre jobs, I realised that I want to get up in the morning knowing that I am going to enjoy what I do to earn a living and in recent years I have gone from hating any exercise to enjoying it more than I could ever imagine. So, after some deliberation, I decided to begin my journey to become a fitness instructor. I signed up for an Exercise to Music course (with a different course provider) and qualified in May. However, that just wasn’t enough! I swiftly looked into becoming a Personal Trainer and found that Diverse Trainers offered an Advanced Level 3 Diploma. I have hardly looked back!

How did you find the course?

I am not going to say that the work is a piece of pie because it isn’t! There is a lot of reading and understanding required, but Diverse Trainers provided all the information required, as well as access to an e-learning portal. The staff are all very helpful and provided as much support as I needed from start to finish. The training days provided the most fun I have had on a course. The students were made to feel welcome and the tutors are super friendly and a huge support. Both Ross and Mark were both knowledgeable, approachable, professional and explained everything we needed to know very well.

What are your plans now qualified?

Now that I am qualified, there is no plan set is stone. I am hoping to take on clients in the new year and will take each day and week as it comes – this time last year I didn’t think I would be a qualified PT before Christmas so who knows what next year will bring!

Would you recommend Diverse Trainers to a friend?

I would be more than happy to recommend Diverse Trainers to friends, family, strangers, anyone who is looking to gain qualifications within the fitness industry. I think it’s a great way of developing in an exciting industry, so I urge you to consider the Diploma in personal training level 3!

If you are looking for the perfect entry level qualification, then take a look at the fitness instructor course.
