My whole family has been into sports of all kinds, My Father and two of his brothers were professional boxers and my Nephew is the Snooker World Champion I have played for School and club football teams through out my life, but turned to boxing which I really enjoyed. having not being the best of boxers I begun helping the coaches then went on to be a corner man and cuts man. Of course with everything nowadays you need a certificate. I was already doing Gym work and personal training but was looking for a company who could throw me in the deep end and give me the certificates I needed for both. I found many companies offering such courses but after speaking with a few felt that they did not have the passion for teaching old learners like myself as Diverse Trainer’s did.
As you completed the distance learning elements of the course from overseas, how did you find this?
This was a bit scary at first as I always have taught face to face, but there was nothing to worry about as I could get on with it when I had the time. If I needed any help I used to write down the subjects and questions and ring up and was always shown were to go for the answers.
How did you find the Diverse Trainers Student Support system?
I found that the student support was just that, Student support. I personally worked with about four different tutors who all where experts in there field(calm, kind and patient) although the one that really stood out to me was a guy named Connor who regularly gave me follow up Emails and often called on the off chance when he knew I was working. Thanks Connor.
How was the tutor on your face to face training days?
Personally I had someone who definitely knew his stuff and was very informative and had funny mantras to remember things by, which worked for me. After five minutes it was like I had known him for years.
Do you think Diverse Trainers deliver quality courses for a competitive price?
Of course, as I have written I done a lot of ground work looking for suitable courses, and because I only had certain days which to do my test as I was flying in from abroad ,Diverse Trainers provided me with suitable and achievable dates to work around my schedule which would have cost a mint with other companies.
Would you recommend Diverse Trainers to a friend and continue your studies with Diverse Trainers for future qualifications?
I will definitely recommend Diverse Trainers to anybody who is a serious learner and is interested in getting the knowledge and certificates to work in the sport industry. if I were to meet anyone who has been on a Diverse course I will know they know there stuff! I have qualified in two levels and hoping to do more in the future, Connor still emails me with what is going on to keep me in the loop at all times.. I would definitely recommend the Level 2 Fitness Instructor course to my friends and family.
