Tell us a bit about your background and what led you to wanting to want to do your course with Diverse Trainers?
I am very interested in fitness and health. I am currently studying Sports Science and Physiology at the University of Leeds and will graduate in 2015. With this qualification, I aim to work in the health and fitness industry and gain experience and knowledge in this field.
Did you enjoy the fact that we use distance learning? Did it make easier for you to be able get on with life outside your qualification?
I chose to complete the course with Diverse Trainers because of the way it is taught through distant learning. With my commitment to University and training (fencing), a block program of so many weeks or weekends of learning would be far from possible for myself.
How did you find the Student Support system that Diverse Trainers has in place for our learners?
The student support service was brilliant. Whenever I needed any type of support or help, someone would always be there. Emails are responded to within that day and phone calls were answered whenever needed. The feedback I gained from the Gym-LAP was also very useful.
How was the tutor on the weekend?
The tutor was brilliant. He taught everything in detail and was there to support us whenever we needed it. The level two courses was by far the best course I have ever attended and I thoroughly enjoyed myself (even in the exam sections). The kettle bell course that I attended was also very interesting, fun and again the tutor was really helpful with everything related to this course.
Do you think Diverse Trainers are competitively priced, and give you good quality courses?
I think the pricing of diverse trainers is very good. To gain all the feedback you do, have it in an electronic and distant learning format and then have such good weekends, it couldn’t be any better. I would, if required pay more to undertake courses with Diverse Trainers.
How likely would you be to recommend Diverse Trainers / do another course with Diverse Trainers?
I am already booked on my personal Trainers level 3 and I am really looking forward to this. I would definitely recommend Diverse Trainers to other people. I know a lot of people who have done gym instructors, personal trainers etc and I had the most positive approach to these courses by far compared to other people who have used different companies. If you’re looking for a great place to start, then look no further than the Level 2 Gym Instructor Course.
